(🇪🇸 ESP Abajo! 👇) "Bitácora de Viaje" 🦜 (meaning ¨A Journey’s Diary¨) by El Extravagante is a mystical travel notebook and musical tale that begins in remote Chile, South America, then sails near the North Pole in Canada and finally crosses the Atlantic to France in Europe. This journey crosses three continents that are part of the eclectic and colorful imaginary of El Extravagante's music, navigating between digital cumbia, folktronica, touches of dembow, downtempo and more 🎶

This is El Extravagante's first LP, the result of years of work that includes singles written by himself and beautiful collaborations with various artists. This music has been presented in a variety of venues, from electronic festivals and tropical latin parties, to cultural gatherings and even workshops for children in schools, both in North and South America and in Europe as well. 🌟

However the different cultural influences and playing with 3 languages (Spanish, English and French), the album has a Universal soul that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and all parts of the world. Combining the sound of traditional acoustic instruments, latin grooves and contemporary electronic beats, finding a balance between dance floor and quiet listening.

Bitácora de Viaje is the closing of a musical cycle for El Extravagante (with another album coming up in 2024!), and at the same time the starting point for the label Ritmos del Sur, a platform that began on Youtube, showing DJ mixtapes and promoting folktronica rhythms to the whole world, to now debut as a record label releasing its own material, under the wing of Cosmovision Records, with much mystique from South America to the whole world. 🌎

Este viaje atraviesa tres continentes que forman parte del ecléctico y colorido imaginario musical de El Extravagante, navegando entre la cumbia digital, la folktrónica, el downtempo, toques de dembow y más 🎶

Este es el primer LP de El Extravagante, resultado de años de trabajo que incluyen singles escritos por el artista y hermosas colaboraciones de varios artistas. La música de El Extravagante se ha presentado en una variedad de escenarios, desde festivales electrónicos y fiestas tropicales, hasta encuentros culturales e incluso talleres para niños en escuelas, tanto en América del Norte y Sur como también en Europa. 🌟

No obstante la gran diversidad de influencias culturales y de moverse en 3 idiomas, el disco posee un lenguaje Universal que puede ser disfrutado por personas de todas las edades y lugares del mundo. Combinando a su vez el sonido de instrumentos acústicos tradicionales, ritmos latinoamericanos con beats electrónicos contemporáneos, encontrando así un balance entre la pista de baile y la música para escuchar tranquilamente en casa.

Bitácora de Viaje es un cierre de ciclo musical para El Extravagante (con otro álbum que llegará el 2024!), y a su vez el puntapié inicial al sello Ritmos del Sur, plataforma que comenzó en Youtube, compartiendo sesiones DJ de folktrónica al mundo, para hoy debutar como sello discográfico lanzando material propio bajo el alero de Cosmovision Records, con mucha espíritu y también vanguardia, desde Sudamérica para el mundo entero. 🌎
