It all began in Afrika, but this track was actually made on two cold winter nights at the Positive Reality studio in Ljubljana (Slovenia).
It's a story of coincidences and love and very much a combination of these two. Both the love between two people but also the love of music and brotherhood. Haris and Al felt in love the first time they meet, it was in the summer of 2016 at the Goulash Disco festival and an idea of maybe producing something together one day was born. Then Al meet a beautiful girl from Slovenia and decided to go visit her in the fall of 2016. And when in Slovenia he reached out to Haris to spend a few nights at the comfort of his studio to see where the music would take them. And as you can hear it took them to Afrika and beyond following the footsteps of dubby baselines and funky beats. They had a feeling something was missing so they had the help from the lovingly nice man Nej Supan who came by to add some trumpet recordings for the dynamic duo to process in their Samplistic manner. Then, the story continues because the track was laying in the hard drive for two years plus, until one week before release Al finally thought that the upcoming COSMOVISION release could be the right place to let the public finally have access to this hidden gem. Mr Don Mescal was delighted with the vibe of the track and things moved quickly as they can nowadays in the digital age.
One week later the track was released via the bandcamp, after passing thru the capable hands of Nathan Hall on the mastering
