Hindustan is the persian name for my motherland,my country ‘India’.
This term is used to refer to modern day Republic of India.

As a young kid,I have always been inspired by the diverse cultures.I have always loved ethnic art & music that highlights the important of some unique traditions.Travelling to cultural heritages, places in India & abroad since a young age and being madly
passionate about music influenced me to start my project AROMA in the first place.I knew what kind of story I wanted to tell through my music.Most of my music emanates from nature,spirituality & culture.I thus call it spirutual world music & ethnic downtempo.
I really like experimenting with sounds I have heard throughout my life,the sound that comes from my roots.This EP is a combination of some classical Indian music with modern day electronic beats and basslines.I have used traditional instruments from different parts of India,blend them with some vocal soundscapes , ambience & ethnic percussions to take the listener on a cosmic journey straight to Hindustan.All the tracks on the EP are named after a city,place in India as I aim for the listener to feel the cultural beauty of this incredible country with each sound and transcend to a dimension where happiness,love is the main motive and everyone is equal.
There is a saying, music is the healer no matter where you are from and I totally believe in it with all my heart.
